Case Management Training Institute

The Case Management Training Institute (CMTI), generously funded by the CT Department of Housing, was created to provide a comprehensive training program for individuals with case management responsibilities in HIV services, HIV housing, domestic violence, homeless shelters, and transitional living programs, regardless of how the positions are funded (i.e. DPH, HOPWA, DOH, and DMHAS).

Please Note: If you have already registered for one of our scheduled trainings and need to cancel, please send an email at least 24 hours in advance to cmti@act-ct.org.

Registration & No-Show Policy

This policy applies to all participants registered for training with ACT’s Case Management Training Institute (CMTI).

  • In-person trainings are limited to 25 participants.
  • Virtual (Zoom) trainings are limited to 100 participants.
  • All sessions are free to community care providers (i.e. case managers, community health workers, outreach workers).
  • Participants must attend the entire session in order to receive credit for the training.
  • A maximum of 3 staff per agency may register for each training. To request accommodation for larger groups please contact us at cmti@act-ct.org to discuss special arrangements.
  • Any unregistered individuals who show up to a training may not be allowed to attend.
  • Failure to attend without sending a cancellation email at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled training will result in a $25.00 "no-show" fee and may limit your access to future trainings.
