Volunteer
We are always looking for dedicated individuals to volunteer for a variety of tasks related to our fundraising efforts.
Available opportunities include planning, promotions, and event logistics.

Sponsor
In-kind sponsors are needed to provide food & beverages at events, as well as items for our auctions and raffles.
We also welcome corporate donors who provide direct financial support.

Events
Art for ACT 2024
On Saturday, June 29, 2024, we invite you to be a part of our 15th Annual Art for ACT event at ArtSpace Hartford. Our goal is to raise funds to support ACT’s mission while our guests enjoy an evening of art, music, food, wine, and fun!
Special features will include a fast-paced Art Grab where each guest takes home an original 12"x12" canvas created by a local artist, an Art Sale exhibition with 80% of proceeds going to the artist and 20% benefiting ACT, complimentary beverages courtesy of Harvest Wines, and light refreshments from local restaurants.

Connecticut AIDS Memorial
The Connecticut AIDS Memorial will be an everlasting tribute to those who have died from AIDS related illnesses. This monument will serve as a reminder of Shawn Lang’s brand of soul force, the force of love, the force of resistance - indicating as we enter the LOB/Capitol grounds that “This is your house!” and as we leave, that we are called to “Go out and change the world.”
Fried Endowment
In 2007, Joel Fried made a gift of $10,000 in memory and honor of his brother, to establish The Richard B. Fried Fund for ACT, a permanent endowment at the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving. To support our endowment efforts, please make checks payable to HFPG, Inc. and reference The Richard B. Fried/ACT Fund.
